Introduction
With a focus on the study of literary works, the course aims to provide students with a high level of English proficiency. The course will expose students to a wide range of rich works of international literature as well as Indian writings in English, including classics; it will help students develop a sense of the creative and imaginative uses of the English language; and it will give them a taste for reading with pleasure and judgment. The main goal of the course is to prepare the students for college-level study in English literature and language.
